 "Ahimsa"
is a Sanskrit word that stretches back over 1000
years into ancient Hindu culture. Simply, Ahimsa
means abstaining from causing harm or violence
to all creatures on earth and to be brought into
a better way of life. Ahimsa, the word and the
action is a staple belief of the Balinese people
who are mostly Hindu. The Ahimsa hotel stands
as a reminder to the people of Bali and their
